How to use Maverix

  1. When a message comes into your mail client (such as outlook, outlook express, Netscape, Webmail) it will look some like this.

  1. The e-mail will always be from maverix@maverix1.purespeed.com and the subject will always be “Maverix Anti-Spam: (The amount of messages you have waiting) Message(s) pending verification”. 
  1. Once you receive this message you will click once with your left mouse button on “Pending Messages Inbox”.  This is located in the first sentence of the e-mail.
  1. After you click on “Pending Messages Inbox” a new window will pop up that looks something like this.

Once this window comes up you will have four options that you can click on.

Permit – Whenever you receive a e-mail from this address it will automatically go to     your mailbox.  (Example:  If you received a message from test@hotmail.com and you  always wanted to receive e-mail from test@hotmail.com you would click once with your left mouse button on permit.

Block - Whenever you receive a e-mail from this address it will automatically be   deleted from your mailbox.  (Example:  If you received a message from test@hotmail.com and you never wanted to receive e-mail from test@hotmail.com you would click once with your left mouse button on Block.

Block Domain - Whenever you receive a e-mail from this domain it will automatically be deleted from your mailbox.  (Example:  If you received a message from test@hotmail.com and you never wanted to receive e-mail from the domain hotmail.com you would click once with your left mouse button on Block Domain.  This means that you will never receive an e-mail message from hotmail.com

Forward – If you received an e-mail from test@hotmail.com and you don’t know if its something you want or not you can do a forward which would send that message to your inbox, however if a message comes in from test@hotmail.com again it will send you another notification asking you what you want to do with the message.

Drop - If you received an e-mail from test@hotmail.com and you don’t know if its something you want or not you can do a drop which would delete that message from your inbox, however if a message comes in from test@hotmail.com again it will send you another notification asking you what you want to do with the message.
